Project description
IRIS Connect records lessons during teacher training. Recorded videos are automatically uploaded to a restricted environment. The teacher who taught the lesson can share the recording with other members of the same environment and request feedback. Students and teachers invited to view the video can leave time-stamped feedback (i.e., feedback linked to a specific moment in the video).

Goals
– To give feedback on your fellow student’s lesson at any time
– To perform deeper analyses of the lessons to benefit the follow-up discussion
– The ability to review one’s own lessons
– To approach live lesson observations
Results
The initial group of teachers is enthusiastic. One benefit they list is that IRIS Connect saves a lot of time. Being able to review video at a time of your choosing is ideal for teachers with packed schedules. Teachers are also interested to see how the things they do affect the class, or fail to.
