Project description
A 360° 3D camera in a ‘monkey-proof’ casing is used to film in a colony of monkeys. Students can observe the monkeys through virtual reality headsets. The image is transmitted in high quality to permit an accurate representation of behaviours, including facial expressions. This makes the experience of practical observation much more accessible. It also improves and accelerates the process of learning about monkey behaviours and the social complexity of groups.

- To prepare students for their internships/careers.
- To prevent observer bias.
