Integrating digital testing into your curriculum is one of the ways you can strengthen your education. Offering tests online allows you to both improve the quality of your tests and to work more effectively and efficiently. The wide variety of question types and the option of adding image and sound to your test questions can make the test more applicable to the stated learning objectives. An online test can also contribute to the students’ learning process, as they can receive feedback immediately, regardless of where they are. If you would like to learn how to create and analyse effective (digital) tests, then take a look at what we have to offer and choose the form that suits you best!

Would you like to know how you can incorporate digital assessment into your education? Check out what we have to offer, and choose the form that suits you best!

(Digital) Assessment

In this online training course, you will use the testing cycle to learn how to design and construct a test and test questions, how to administer a test, and how to evaluate and analyse it. The issues dealt with in the course include: key questions when designing a test, the test matrix, different forms of assignments, closed and open questions, evaluation methods, pass/fail standards, and test analysis concepts. You can use your own material to get started right away.

Test quality for (digital) tests

This e-learning module briefly explains how quality factors can be used to improve the quality of the test and how digital testing systems can contribute to test quality.

This workshop will provide a few rules of thumb that a good test must meet, whether the test uses open or closed questions. In one exercise, we will critically review the quality of your own test questions so you can improve them and develop even better questions in the future. We also do hands-on work as well: you will learn how to enter your own test questions in Remindo and how to structure a test. The module will show how you can re-use questions from previous tests, for example by accumulating an item bank that you can use for years.

During the workshop, you will get started creating your own questions. Remember to bring along your own laptop and a sample test to practice with!

Have you already administered a digital test in Remindo, and now you would like to learn how to analyse the results? Then this workshop is for you.

We will discuss the following topics:

  • What does a test analysis look like in Reminido?
  • How can you interpret the data (P, Rir, Rit, Cronbach’s alpha)?
  • What can you do if everyone does poorly on the test?
  • What can you do with a question that everyone answers wrong (or right)?
  • Can you delete a question or count an alternative answer as correct?
  • How do you evaluate the quality of your questions after the test?
